In addition, we offer counseling as to employer expectations and employee rights, under both federal and state statutes, including, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Law Against Discrimination, the Civil Rights Acts and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). As a part of our municipal and public sector practice, we have represented public entities through all aspects of their relationships with employees, and are uniquely qualified to handle the special set of laws and circumstances that arise in that area. Our representation of management and labor has allowed us to view the employment relationship from both perspectives, giving us more insight in advising each side what to expect from and of the other.
