Two attorneys from the firm's Wall Township office have been named New Jersey Super Lawyers for 2007, and another attorney has been named a "Rising Star” in New Jersey Monthly magazine.

The McLaughlin Gelson, D'Apolito & Stauffer lawyers who were named New Jersey Super Lawyers, and their practice areas are:

• Roger J. McLaughlin, Municipal Law and Land Use. Mr. McLaughlin, a resident of Wall Township, is one of only four attorneys to receive this recognition in the State. Mr. McLaughlin has specialized in Land Use and Zoning cases for almost thirty years. He has practiced extensively before Planning and Zoning Boards in Monmouth & Ocean counties.

• John F. Gelson, Litigation and Mediation/Arbitration. Mr. Gelson, a resident of Point Pleasant Beach, has been certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney since 1993 and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Club. Mr. Gelson is the only attorney selected in the field of Mediation who is not a former Federal or State Court Judge.

In addition, Shannon Fury Curtis, a resident of Bay Head, was selected as a "Rising Star". Only 2.5% of the attorneys in the State of New Jersey are selected as Rising Stars. Ms. Curtis practices in the area of Elder Law and Estate Planning.
