As with our Municipal Law practice, the Public Finance Division is devoted to providing experienced, personal service to public entities to make their access to the financial markets as easy as possible. With experience serving as as Bond Counsel, Underwriter’s Counsel and General Counsel in connection with numerous public finance transactions, the firm has the exprerience to serve its public clients financing needs.

As Bond Counsel, McLaughlin, Gelson, D'Apolito, Stauffer & Shaklee, LLC. provides advice as to capital financing matters and general advice as to Federal tax law restrictions. The firms attorneys coordinate all steps necessary in the sale and closing of bonds and notes, including preparation of bond ordinances authorizing debt, assistance with the issuance of bond anticipation notes, tax anticipation notes and permanent bonds and rendering the approving legal opinion required by the market. In fact, the Firm is listed in The Bond Buyer’s Municipal Marketplace (the "Red Book") as experienced Bond Counsel whose opinion is accepted in the national financial market.
